Information Technology
The Bachelor of Applied IT is a unique three-year undergraduate degree programme offered by the SLTC Research University in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. This programme, aimed at building the next generation of Sri Lankan IT professionals is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.

Conducted at 76 centers across Sri Lanka in partnership with the National Youth Corps and the National Youth Services Council
Begin your studies at a center of your choosing.
This programme will not stop you from working or taking up any additional studies. The learning methodology of this degree programme allows you to study at your own pace from any one of the 76 centers located across the country.

The programme curriculum has been designed and will be delivered in collaboration with industry leaders and giants of the Sri Lankan IT industry such as , SLASSCOM, TRACE, and FITIS , to ensure that the best industry opportunities will be available to all graduates of this programme
Moreover, the programme has been carefully designed not only to impart the necessary knowledge but also to inculcate the values and develop the attitudes and skills necessary for a professional to build a successful career in the IT industry.
Students will go through an internship program during their last semester.

Eligibility Criteria
Three simple passes (3S) in any subject stream in the same sitting at the GCE A/L (Advanced Level) examination or an equivalent qualification.

Pay the first month’s registration fee to register
Year One :
Rs. 10,250 per month
Year Two :
Rs. 15,375 per month
Year Three :
Rs. 20,500 per month
